'In the Name of God Amen 'I, Dawson Wade, [resident] of Montgomery County and State of Kentucky being weak in body but of sound mind and memory do make and declare this to be my last will and testament. First, I commit my soul to the Almighty God who gave me first existence. Secondly, that my body may decently intombed [sic] then I advise the persons that shall be hereafter mentioned as my executors or who ever may act as such to follow my further instructions, that as soon as my death or as so soon after as the nature of the law will admit of and out of the affett [sic] and estate that I may die siesed [sic] of to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses, and then if my wife, Rachel Wade, shall be living to carefully place in their hands the balance of my estate to be by them made use of (as what part of it may be necessary for the support keeping and maintenance of her, my wife,during her life.
