LAWRENCEBURG - Paul Thomas 'P.T' Perry, Waddy, died Monday at home of anapparent heart attack.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late J.B. and Lillie YOUNGPerry. He was a retired employee of Anderson County school system andplayed baseball for the Boston Red Sox for several years. He was alsoemployed by the Half-Way House for many years. He was a member of PigeonFork Baptist Church and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Lela POWERS Perry, two daughters, Cindy Perryof Lancaster, and Paula MITCHELL of Waddy; a brother, Herman Perry ofBaghdad; and a granddaughter.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Gash Memorial Chapel by theRev. Harold Mauney. Burial will be in Pigeon Fork Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles Thomas, Houston Perry, Doyle Glass, IkeWingate, Billy West and Bobby Lacefield.
Honorary pallbearers are Chip Perry, Steve Mitchell, Billy McGee,Caldwell Easley, Jeff Young and Conrad Gutermuth Sr.
