She retired in the early 1960s from U.S. Shoe, Crothersville, where sheworked in the packing room, finishing shoes. She attended First BaptistChurch of Crothersville.
She was born June 8, 1911, in Tremble County, Ky., a daughter of Elmerand Mary Alice Wentworth Handlon. She married Clifford Henry Sept. 30,1930, and he died Sept. 7, 1957.
