CAMPBELL Peacefully on June 2, 2003 with family by her side, Esther-Mae Maria Campbell (nee Beauchesne) left us to join her beloved husband of 39 years Bruce, who predeceased her in December 2002. Also predeceased by her father, Orphir Beauchesne, stepfather, Lucien Michaud and sister, Bernadette Kueber. Esther leaves behind her children, Annette (Ron) Woods, Blair Campbell and Colleen (Ranj) Dhami, five grandchildren; Courtney, Bryson, Jessica, Jared and Geoffrey; her mother, Bella Michaud, special Aunty Rhea and brothers, Hector Beauchesne, Ernest Beauchesne and sister, Janet Kueber, as well of many other extended family and friends. Esther was born on May 7, 1943 in Dumas, Saskatchewan after graduating from St. Ann's Academy she began her work career as a teller at the Bank of Montreal. Several years later along with her husband Bruce, they opened and ran Campbell's Toys and
Hobbies. But Esther's passion was really working with and helping other people, and most recently she received her 20 year service award for working as a long term care attendant at Cowichan Lodge. The family would like to send a Special thanks to Dr.'s Cutt, Watt, Cole, Spence and Pewarchuk and especially to the nursing staff on 3 south at Cowichan District Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 7. 2003 at 11:00 am in St. Edward's Parish, 2085 Maple Bay Road Duncan, BC with refreshments following in the church hall. Flowers gratefully declined if so desired donations may be made in Esther's name to the Cowichan District Hospital Foundation.

Edward Bergevin, 78, was born on Sept. 20, 1926, and passed away May 10, 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Fred Bergevin; and son-in-law, Douglas Pimlott. He is survived by his three daughters, Kathleen (Bill) Bodford of Memphis, Tenn., Karen (Dr. William) Hurley of Olympia, Wash., and Mary (Demare) Gil of Roanoke, Va.; grandchildren, Brianna (Brad) Eldred, Katie and Ian Bodford, Erin, Amber and Alex Hurley, Ryan and Ashley Pimlott and Mariah Gil; great-granddaughter, Harper Eldred; former wife and close friend, Leona Bergevin; brother, Louis (Beth) Bergevin. Ed served in World War II aboard the USS North Carolina. He worked for Southern Colorado Power Co. from 1951 to retirement, where he was known for his creative mechanical inventions, which greatly aided in job efficiency. Ed had a life-long love of the water, and enjoyed boating and fishing. Memorial service, 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2005, at the Pueblo Regent Retirement Residence, 100 San Carlos Road.
