    In the Name of God Amen; I, Daniel Webster, of the Sate of Kentucky, County of Boone, feeling myself weak in body and in a low state of health but in my right mind; but I know have got to died. Cheerfully I resign my body to the dust and my Soul to God who gave it. I therefore make my last Will and Testament to wit as follows;
    1st: it is my will that my true and lawful wife, Polly Webster, shall have her support during her natural life all the property I possess, that is to say, all my land and stock of every description, household and kitchen furniture, and after her decease, what may remain to be equally divided among all my children: and I do hereby ordain and appoint William Franks, Dudley, Webster and Bevin Webster Administrators--as witness my hand this 8th day of May, 1833.

    Thomas, Lewis, and John Webster all bought items. This seems further proof that hte families of old John and Daniel were closely related as John was the son of old John and Lewis was a son of Christopher.

    Jane Webster took oath as required by law and the letters of administration were granted her as administrator of her husband's estate. Ed Cullin was her security. In August of 1816, on motion of Daniel Webster, it was ordered that a summons be issued to Jane Webster, administrator of the estate of Spencer Webster, decd. to appear at 'the next meeting of the court to show cause, if any she can, why she shall not be compelled to give additional security as administrator of the aforesaid estate or surrender up said administration'. In Dec 1822 Jane proved to the Fayette Co. Court that she was not 'state' in her own right to the value of $100 to apply for 100 acres of land under the act of Congress approved in Dec of 1820 for the Benefit of Poor Widows.
    Jane moved to Grant Co. sometime before 1847 when a deed there specified that she had received, as a gift from her son ,Spencer, all land that he had received as one of the heirs of Daniel Webster Sr. Jane resided with her daughter, Priscilla Steele, in Fayette Co. in 1850.
