Funeral services for Vertie B. Wade, 34, who died suddenly Tuesday morning while working at the new City Disposal Plant, will be held today (Thursday) at 2:00 P.M. at the Baxter Church of christ. Pierce Brown will officiate. The body will be at the home at 98 Mill Street until time for the services.
The son of the late Charley and Betty Watts Wade, he was a native of Putnam County.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Opal Russell Wade; one son, Charley B. Wade; and one brother; Haskell Wade, Chestnut Mound.
Burial will be in the Maxwell Cemetery at Baxter.1 |
