Foster, remarried. After his second wife died of a stroke,he persuaded Maud to move back to Kentucky and marry him. I think mygrandmother would approve! Maud is a very nice lady and has helped mygrandfather in so many ways. They both attend Mt. Zion Church and liveonly a mile or so away. There are pictures of Julia and Clarence in theBald Knob Pictorial History book that I told you about. I am not surewhere you can purchase that book but the History Center might have acopy. It was just published about a year ago. Rec'd from Julienne Foster via e-mail 2003 /PSH Clarence was the 5th of 8 children. He and Julia had 3 children, one ofwhom died in infancy and another died at the age of two. ------------------------------------ CLARENCE FOSTER OBIT Clarence Foster, 85, of Frankfort, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Julia Young Foster, a son,Doug Foster, a daughter, Ann Foster; brothers Herman Foster, RussellFoster and Woodrow Foster; and sisters Stella Virginia Page, EvelynHardin and Lilly Mae Quire. He is survived by his wife, Maud Watson Foster; a son, Kenneth Foster, ofFrankfort; sisters, Lois Hulker, Shelbyville, and Mary Emma Montgomery,Frankfort; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces andnephews.
