Could we be dealing with two different Simon Moons?

Both Margaret who m. Thomas Brown at Hopewell 1748 and Rachel who m.
Henry Thornbrugh 1758 at New Garden are identified in the New Garden MM
records as daughters of Simon MOON, but neither entry states who their
mother was. Henry and Rachel do name a
daughter Lowry though. None of the children of Thomas and Margaret are
named Simon or Lowry.

James and Joan Moon had a son Ro(d)ger born about 1679 who died 16 2nd
month 1759, age 80 years, (Falls MM, PA). He married 23 8th mo 1708
Falls MH to Ann NUTT (d. 9-15-1732). Their children recorded at Falls
MM are listed below including a son named Simon.
