Susan married John Upchurch in 1878 and had two dauthers, Cora and Vallie Upchurch.
Thomas Alexander Wade married Julia Vinson. Thomas died January 10, 1898 and Julia died November 26, 1898, and they are buried in the Vinson Cemetery in Jackson County, Tennessee. Susan Pharris Vinson raised the orphan children of her daughter, Julia and Thomas Wade. Their children Littleton C., born ca 1884; William, born ca 1887; daughter, born ca 1890; Roberts S., born ca 1893 and Hugh L. Wade, born ca 1895.
