Four of the injuredare in a critical condition. Clifford Simon, 44, Prospect, died at 11: 25 o'clock Monday night in St.Joseph's Infirmary. He was in an automobile driven by Austin Bess, 37.Other victims were James Simon, 14, son of the dead man; Robert Shrader,53, also of Prospect; his son, James Shrader, 4, and William Grant, 24,Carrollton. The mishap occurred when a car driven by Grant attempted to pass theautomobile driven by William Hendorn, Bellvue, Ky., struck it in the rearand bounced to the other side of the road and hit the car containingSimon, head-on. Bess was the other driver. Grant was taken to Carrollton after receiving first aid treatment at thescene and later taken to a Cinncinnati Hospital. The others were broughtto St. Joseph's here. The younger Simon was the least hurt.
